About Us
We are a Dallas, TX based Non-profit created to serve the families of the Dallas Police Department. Formed by the surviving children of fallen Officer David E. Ruiz, our goal is to honor our father and to provide financial assistance to the families of the Dallas Police Department.
We currently provide annually, at least two, $5,000 academic scholarships to eligible children of the Dallas Police Department.
We are partnered with the Friends of Dallas Police Non-profit organization based in Dallas, TX and will present our scholarship awards at their banquet in November 2024.
Our Mission
The Anita Ruiz Family Foundation provides financial opportunities towards educational advancement for the families of the Dallas Police Department.
